As part of the Landscape Museum project, the Workshop "Go out to think about the landscape" was held on March 24th and 25th, in the area of Oledo, Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal.

Ricardo Tomé, STRIX's Scientific Director, presented the lecture "Habitats and Birds of the Tagus" and promoted the outdoor bird observation sessions.

Several initiatives were organized during the weekend, including tours, filming, drawing, observations. This resulted in the articulation of the team and the harmonization of methodologies, in order to fulfil the mission of this project.

The Landscape Museum includes online and offline platforms that aim to contribute to a landscape citizenship since the landscape is built by all and implies the participation of the population.

STRIX is the specialist partner in Ecology and Biodiversity issues. The project is coordinated by Politecnico de Lisboa and obtained the recognition of the European Commission at the end of last year, with specific financing.

For Ricardo Tomé "the result was clearly positive". According to STRIX's Scientific Director, "These projects allow an integrated and multidisciplinary view of the landscape and a dynamic and careful intervention."
